Our co-founders, Mathew Frederickson and Simon Whitehead, first came up with the idea for The BEX in 2020 and since then our team has continued to grow, as we support more businesses with contemporary digital solutions and best practice consulting.

In 2021, we have brought into the fold, four new team members who all share our values and passion for customer service, IT, and doing things better and more efficiently.

Simon Magill, Head of Technology Services
Simon is a technology innovator with a strong focus on using digital and IT to support business growth and outcomes.
Simon joins the BEX team after gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience over the last 25+ years as a trusted IT professional.
Simon’s most previous role was to lead the IT functions at Atlas Iron. His wide understanding of technology in today’s world, sees him proficient in strategy, governance, budgeting, vendor management, IT procurement, change management, risk, security, building and mentoring teams. He also has held senior IT positions at Unisys West and Newmont Mining.
Simon’s humility and desire to achieve strong business outcomes for our clients, has us all at the BEX super excited on what’s to come.
Tim Clayden, Business Experience Consultant
Tim is a customer focused professional with 12+ years in the IT sector, providing customer service and relevant insights into digital business innovation.
Getting Tim to join us was a simple decision for us, with his wealth of knowledge across the Western Australian landscape and technology world.
Tim’s focus on clients first, long term mutually beneficial relationships and always being humble is 100% aligned to the BEX DNA!
Kane Ballantyne, Experience Manager
Kane is a hands-on leader, focused on technical excellence, people development, client retention, innovation and strong business outcomes.
Kane will be instrumental in the success of our operational and technical worlds, ensuring our clients receive the absolute best experience now and into the future.
